Allana Ferguson bio

Allana participated in Australia at Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries made her miss several seasons before switching to the Rugby League. Allana was a star for New South Wales in her first women's Rugby League game against Queensland in 2015, a game she also took part in during 2015. Allana has also added radio to her game, performing regularly with the most popular Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana has also earned a teaching diploma. Allana Ferguson has the unique distinction of having represented Australia in three sports that include the rugby sevens (rugby league) along with touch, and also the union of rugby. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos football player who was in the rugby league for a number of years was forced to close her professional career prematurely due to her tearing her ACL four times. Ferguson injured her ACL four times, at ages 15, 17, and 20. After the fourth time she was injured, her professional career was over. Ferguson, the JILLAROOS' playmaker, was forced to resign early due to a fourth left ACL tear. Ferguson confirmed to The Courier Mail that she suffered the injury during training in November. Ferguson has been the face of women's Rugby League over the course of several seasons.
